We have terrific conditions for trail work, so check the calendar or our Facebook page for planned dig days.
The weather has been great for riding, but let’s be mindful of the right conditions to ride in to best preserve our trails. With freeze-thaw going on, the best time to hit the trails is early in the morning while they are still firm. Even though the surface will soften up, the ground underneath is still cold which creates muddy conditions that don’t drain. Do not ride around wet spots – go through them … otherwise they just get bigger. Some areas in town drain and dry out much faster than others, so take that into account when planning your rides.
