Join us Saturday to plant trees in the Beacon Hill burn area. The trees are being supplied by city parks urban forestry. We will also have a representative from the department of natural resources provide training for our crew leads on the proper location and planting techniques. It will be a fun and informative day.
REI will also be there with swag and bringing some of their employees to help. We will have prizes and provide lunch after the planting. We really need all the help we can get to plant 1,000 trees so please share this message!
When: 10/23 from 9AM-1PM
Where: Just north of the Camp Sekani Parking lot in the Meadow, head up past the disc golf area.
