It’s time for a Trail Work Party on the East side! We will be working on trails at Bead Lake outside of Newport, just 60 miles north of Spokane. We will be coming together to give our beautiful Bead Lake trail much-needed maintenance for the season. Give back to the trails and take part in the important work we do to keep trails in great shape.
No trail maintenance experience? No worries! Evergreen Trailbuilders will be here to guide you, and will be providing loppers, brush knives, brush cutters, and hand tools.
As a thank you for your hard work on the trails, after digging we will regroup at the trailhead for grilled food and cold drinks!
What to bring: sunscreen, water, snacks, excitement to work this beautiful trail!
What to wear: sturdy boots or shoes, gloves, appropriate clothing for working conditions (pants and long sleeved shirts are recommended, brush cutter operators required to wear pants and a long sleeved shirt).
