Last year we lost a great community member, rider, and even better friend of the riding community, Ted Moon. This ride is in his honor, rally the troops!
“Every new year’s day we would ride no matter what the weather. This year and moving forward I would like to dedicate the New year’s ride to Ted.”
-Robert Fairfax

Mr. Moon loved a good bike ride and the New Year’s Day ride was no exception as he made it a point to get out and #optoutside.

Please plan to join us New year’s day (1/1/19) at 1:30PM at the Seven Mile Wilbur Rd parking lot in Riverside State Park (Direct link to Google Maps https://goo.gl/maps/qeJXme4eikr) to celebrate Ted’s life. We will be riding a mild elevation gain loop, around 10-12 miles of single and double track trails, depending on conditions and your bike the ride can range from easy to mildly difficult, Bring your discover pass. This will be a no drop ride and fat bikes are recommended, but not required. (The shops rent them so make your reservations early).

If you have any questions or haven’t ridden in winter on trails you should definitely give it a shot, what better time to try some winter riding.

Ride hosted by Robert Fairfax and friends.

**This is not an official Evergreen East Group ride, we are simply sharing the love of this great event.**
